How Anthem Battle works
- Listen first: Listen to each anthem for at least 10 seconds for your vote to carry full weight. The more you listen, the stronger your vote.
- Full anthem bonus: A second orange bar appears once you hit 10 s. Listen to the entire anthem for a bonus ELO multiplier (up to +50% combined when both are fully heard). Totally optional — the bonus is yours if you want it.
- Vote: Click "Vote for this anthem" to declare a winner. The other anthem gets a loss.
- ELO ratings: Wins and losses update each country's ELO score (starting at 1500, K=32). A win against a higher-rated country earns more points.
- Wildcard: Occasionally a lower-ranked anthem is matched against a higher-ranked one — upsets are worth more.
- Skip: Not feeling it? Skip the matchup and get a fresh pair.
